The Outside is the world outside of [[The Tower]] and is where most people spend their entire lives. The world is formed of four continents, three of which are inhabited by civilization, whilst the fourth is lost to monsters. The smallest continent, Arcadia, is named such after the first Kingdom to unite the continent, happening shortly after [[The War of Ascension]]. The Kingdom is now split amongst four countries, with a neutral zone, called Tower Town, around the continents Tower. The four Kingdoms of Arcadia are Lyceris, Arcas, Alucrad, and Phantasia. The Cerulean Empire rules the largest continent, Celestia, and is known for their academies and their focus on researching [[The Tower]]. Due to it being in the middle of Arcadia and Arlon it is also a massive hub for trading and refugees. The third continent, currently known as Arlon, is ruled by the tyrant Arlo, a famous participant in [[The War of Ascension]], known for his might and power. There is no strict governing body, but the [[Adventurer's Guild]] has a lot of support from Arlo and is the unofficial governing body. Due to the country following the whims of one man, this country has few visitors and many trying to flee to Celestia or Arcadia. Not much is known about [[The Dark Continent]], other than it is overrun by monsters as few ships dare to even travel near it due to the many sea monsters surrounding it. Each of the four continents contain an identical copy of [[The Tower]], all leading to the same space, allowing for communication between the continents. Much research has been done on how this is possible, and where the four towers came from, but there is still very little known other than what is recorded about [[The War of Ascension]]. Although the towers lead to the same space, exiting the tower always takes you outside the copy you entered from, although the tower can still used to transport items between continents. The three inhabited continents also have many [[Guilds]] and religious [[Orders]], with the major ones having branches within all 3 inhabited continents and several floors of [[The Tower]]. ![[World Map.jpg]]
